Cupcake vending machines emerge in Australia

Australians with a sweet tooth can buy cupcakes from vending machines at the CS Square Caroline Springs and Craigieburn Central shopping centers in Melbourne, according to a smartcompany.com report.

The machines are the first of 10 that will be available by mid-2024, according to founder Katelyn Matheson.

Shoppers can buy boxes of four, six and 12 handmade macarons, cookies, mini cupcakes and cookies. Flavors include cream, lemon, Biscoff and vanilla rainbow.

Matheson operates pop-up stores and employs more than 25 staff members.
