ICE, Pink PantherCLARENCE, NY -- Innovative Concepts In Entertainment has begun shipping Pink Panther Jewel Heist. A collaboration between ICE and the Play Mechanix game studio, the new amusement redemption game is inspired by the iconic Pink Panther movies starring Peter Sellers and directed by Blake Edwards.

Featuring an attention-getting pink cabinet, bright LED lighting and vertical 42" LCD high-def monitor, the arcade game challenges players to make their getaway down a 100-story tall museum with a stolen jewel. Along the way they must evade numerous obstacles, including guard dogs, laser sensors and the ever-vigilant Inspector Clouseau.

The animated Pink Panther is controlled by a joystick. Tickets are awarded based on the number of floors a player descends during his or her escape.

"Pink Panther is simple and yet so fun. It really keeps players coming back for more. The repeat play we have seen in our test locations has been impressive to say the least," said ICE's Joe Coppola.

"Play Mechanix as they are so well known for, has created a game that any age can enjoy," Coppola added. "At the same time, Pink Panther will challenge the most skilled players right to the end. The software designers on this game did a fantastic job."

One of the longest and most beloved film franchises in cinema history, the first "Pink Panther" movie was released in 1963, and was followed by nearly a dozen sequels over more than four decades. The "Pink Panther" derives its name from the priceless diamond featured in the first movie that is said to include a flaw resembling a panther. Another "Pink Panther" movie is said to be in development at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
