CSC ServiceWorks partners with PayRange to digitize laundry services

CSC ServiceWorks, a commercial laundry operator, has entered into a long-term agreement to integrate PayRange technology into its washers and dryers, according to a press release. The partnership will transform CSC's machines into smart, connected appliances capable of real-time pricing, management and promotions.

The move allows CSC to retrofit its existing fleet of over one million machines with PayRange's mobile payment and commerce platform. This integration will enable dynamic, cloud-based pricing, data-driven marketing and loyalty programs through CSC's "One Tap Away" consumer app. The upgrade is expected to modernize the laundry experience for more than 40 million users across the U.S.

"After exhaustive testing of every credible solution — including building our own at one point — we chose to partner with PayRange because it's the only fully featured platform in the market," Rod Castellanos, chief executive officer of CSC ServiceWorks, said in the release. "It goes far beyond payment acceptance to deliver real-time revenue management, dynamic pricing, consumer engagement, and deep operational intelligence in one unified solution, exactly what we need to modernize and grow our business."

The rollout of the technology began in the first quarter of 2025. The companies state the upgrade will eliminate significant manual labor costs associated with coin collection and manual price changes, while providing customers with more convenient payment options and promotions.
