Crane updates BevMax, Media2 capabilities

Crane Payment Innovations, a Crane Co. company, has relaunched the BevMax Classic and Media2 machines with energy-efficient improvements, according to a press release.

The updated product portfolio, paired with new safety standards from the National Automatic Merchandising Association, will allow operators to resume the purchase and deployment of new machines in California.

The re-engineered BevMAX portfolio provides:

• Energy efficient refrigerant (R290) fully compliant with new standards.
• Increased safety with components designed for compatibility with green refrigerants.
• Less downtime and faster troubleshooting with improved serviceability.
• Lower total cost of ownership and increased efficiency with Energy Star 4.0 compliance.

These enhancements are designed to build on the BevMax's ability to integrate cashless, provide touchscreen displays, allow shopping cart purchasing and provide nutritional displays and brand promotions.
