Costa Coffee, a U.K.-based coffee brand the Coca-Cola Co. acquired in 2018, has named Philippe Schaillee CEO of the company effective April 10, 2023, reporting to Evguenia "Jeny" Stoichkova, president of global ventures for The Coca-Cola Co., according to a press release.
Schaillee, a coffee industry veteran, joins Costa Coffee from Groupe SEB, a France based multinational that owns Montebellow, California based Wilbur Curtis Co. and other coffee equipment brands, where he served as executive vice president in charge of products and innovation since April 2021.
Schaillee succeeds former Costa CEO Jill McDonald.
In 2022, Costa Coffee announced it will introduce its Costa Express's hot and iced drinks self-serve machines.
