Continental Services offers alcohol management for customer locations

Continental Services, Michigan's largest vending and food management company, has partnered with SOBR Safe Inc., a provider of alcohol management services, to install a touch-based alcohol screening program in three locations to validate employee enrollment processes and to gather data for business trend analysis, according to a press release.

Employee participation is voluntary.

"This is an innovative means to manage our existing alcohol policy, with the intent to prove safe operations and potentially reduce insurance premiums. SOBRsafe supports our mission to provide a safe working environment and community, and to encourage healthy living practices," Jim Bardy, CEO of Continental Services, said in the release.

Continental Services has more than 1,800 employees across five locations and serves more than 700 companies throughout Detroit and lower Michigan.
