Conn’s Potato Chip to continue Mikesell’s brand

Fans of Mikesell's potato chips need not despair the recently announced closing of the iconic brand, according to a report in The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Conn's Potato Chip Co. has secured a licensing agreement and will be making Mikesell's-branded snack foods at its Zanesville, Ohio, facility, offering the products in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

The agreement will allow Conn's to use the same recipes to make the same products that have gained a following over more than a century from Dayton, Ohio based Mikesells, the company announced.
