Compass Group exits Russia over Ukraine invasion

Compass Group PLC, which owns Canteen Vending Services Inc. in the U.S., exited the Russian market and will be moving away from all known Russian suppliers, according to a press release.

The company has also has donated £250,000 ($326,130) to charities on the ground in Ukraine and will continue to provide donations of food and financial aid towards the growing refugee crisis in Eastern Europe.

"We continue to monitor developments closely and stand with the international community in calling for an urgent and peaceful resolution to this conflict," CEO Dominic Blakemore said in a prepared statement.
