Compass Group to acquire Ireland education foodservice firm

Compass Ireland plans to acquire Glanmore Foods, expanding its footprint in education foodservice, for an undisclosed sum, according to a Compass Ireland blog.

Glanmore Foods, based in Blanchardstown, will retain its brand, management team and employees, as well as existing operations facilities and suppliers.

Completion of the acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.

Glanmore Foods services 400 primary and secondary schools and operates on-site cafeterias in 42 schools.
