Community Coffee taps Kraft/Heinz’s Tom Corley as president, CEO

Community Coffee, a coffee retailer, roaster and convenience services operation based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has named Thomas Corley as president and CEO, effective Jan. 15, according to a press release.

He will succeed David Belanger, who in July of last year announced his intention to retire after 12 years as CEO and a 25-year career with the company.

Corley began his career as a sales representative with General Foods Inc., now part of Kraft Heinz, in Alexandria, Minnesota, where he spent more than 30 years and was responsible for $18 billion in revenue in his last role as president of sales and foodservice. Since then, he has held roles in sales and marketing organizations and most recently was a board member and commercial advisor to several consumer-packaged goods companies.
