Colorado dispensary introduces marijuana vending machine

Marijuana products can be purchased at a vending machine at the Terrapin Care Station dispensary in Aurora, Colorado, according to a Denver Post report.

The company recently installed a machine called the Automated Cannabis Experience.

Customers scan their ID and select products using a touchscreen and fill their digital basket. Customers pay using cash and can watch, through a 38-by-30-inch glass window, as the machine grabs, bags, seals and places a purchase sticker on the package.

The machine holds up to 1,152 products. Offerings include flowers, edibles, vape oil cartridges and more.

Terrapin Care Station developed the machine in partnership with BMC Universal Technologies, a Canadian manufacturer.
