Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC has appointed four region general managers to lead its newly established operating regions, a move the company says is a key part of its "Next 10" growth and transformation strategy. The leaders will oversee operations across four distinct regions: North, Central, South and West Florida, according to a press release.
The new Region General Managers are John Browning (North Florida), Derek Frederickson (Central Florida), Scottie Walker (South Florida) and Teddy Mejeur (West Florida).
The leaders are "fully aligned with our customer-first mindset and have a deep understanding of the unique dynamics within their markets," Jamaal Medley, vice president of field operations, said in the release.
The company says this organizational shift is designed to enhance customer service, improve agility and strengthen local engagement within the communities it serves across 47 counties in Florida. Coke Florida is the sixth-largest Coca-Cola bottler in the U.S. and one of the largest Black-owned businesses in the country.
