DALLAS, TX - Coin Acceptors Inc. (St. Louis, MO) has purchased Clover M Enterprises, doing business as Riechers Truck Bodies & Equipment Co. (Washington, MO), according to a report by Generational Equity here. Generational Equity is a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor to privately owned businesses. The acquisition closed on Apr. 20.
Riechers Truck Bodies is a manufacturer of truck bodies; it was established in 1934. In addition to its mass-production capability, it can design and customize truck beds to meet customer specifications for stake, platform, chipper, farm and other types. It also manufactures trailers and carries a full line of truck body accessories.
Coin Acceptors is a 60-year-old company known for supplying the unattended point-of-sale industries with payment systems, as well as refrigerated vending equipment produced by its Royal Vendors subsidiary. Generational Equity reports that the family-owned company was seeking to diversify its wealth by investing in manufacturing businesses with metal fabricating capabilities and other processes with which it is familiar.
Generational Equity senior managing director Roger Dean established the initial relationship with Riechers, and senior managing director Michael Goss successfully closed the deal.
"This transaction represents a very solid fit for both Coin Acceptors, and the owners of Riechers – Gil, Wayne and Roland Mohesky," said Goss. "The Mohesky family was looking to exit their investment and move closer to full retirement, and Gil will continue to partner with Coin Acceptors and its team to ensure a smooth and successful transition."
Coin Acceptors recently sold its primary payment system lines to SuzoHapp (Mt. Prospect, IL), broadening SuzoHapp's product offering for vending, music and amusements, and other unattended point-of-sale businesses. Click here to read VT article.
