Coca-Cola United opens sales center in Auburn

Coca-Cola Bottling Company United held a grand opening Wednesday for its sales center and warehouse in Auburn. The company invested $18 million in the 24,000-square-foot facility, located on West Veterans Boulevard, according to a WAKA 8 report.
The center will serve as a distribution hub for six counties in the surrounding area, including Lee, Macon, Randolph, Chambers, Coosa and Tallapoosa. The facility sits on approximately 15 acres and will manage the distribution of nearly 3 million cases of Coca-Cola products annually to over 1,000 customers.
Auburn Coca-Cola, which employs about 75 associates, officially became part of the Coca-Cola United family in 2023.
"This facility reflects our longstanding commitment to refresh and serve the communities and consumers of East Alabama with excellence and hometown pride," Allen Buffington, Auburn Coca-Cola sales center manager, told the news outlet.
