Coca-Cola to close Massachusetts bottling plant

The Coca-Cola Co. will close a bottling plant in Northampton, Massachusetts in 2023, eliminating 319 jobs, according to a Daily Hampshire Gazette report.

Production will continue through June 2023, according to the mayor's office, but one employee who spoke on condition of anonymity said manufacturing could be shut down in waves.

The plant is the city's largest employer.
