Coca-Cola lists 828 positions to be cut at Atlanta headquarters

The Coca-Cola Co. has released a list of 828 jobs it plans to cut at its Atlanta headquarters in a letter to the Georgia Department of Labor that was obtained by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The company announced in August that organizational changes will result in job reductions for its corporate workforce beginning in early 2021. The "separations and indefinite layoffs" will begin on or about March 31, 2021 or during a 14-day period beginning on that date, according t o the letter.

The company last month announced plans to cut 2,200 positions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
