Coca-Cola Florida Adds Northern Distribution Territory And Production Facilities

TAMPA, FL -- Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC said it has closed on a deal with an afï¬_x0081_liate of Coca-Cola Co. for distribution rights in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Orlando, Daytona and Brevard County, along with production facilities in Jacksonville and Orlando.

The transaction follows a recent announcement by Coca-Cola that it reached a deï¬_x0081_nitive agreement with CCBF to purchase nine distribution centers and four production facilities in northern and southern Florida. The southern Florida transaction is scheduled to close in the ï¬_x0081_rst quarter of 2017.

CCBF, headquartered in Tampa, became an independent bottler serving central Florida distribution territories in May 2015. It is one the largest independently owned and operated bottlers in the country, employing more than 3,000 people and serving the Sunshine State in 10 distribution territories.
