Coca-Cola Appoints Jim Dinkins Senior Vice-President

ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola Co. has named James L. (Jim) Dinkins a senior vice-president. The beverage giant previously announced that Dinkins will become president of Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) effective Jan. 1. ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola Co. has named James L. (Jim) Dinkins a senior vice-president. The beverage giant previously announced that Dinkins will become president of Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) effective Jan. 1.

Dinkins is currently president of Coca-Cola's Minute Maid business unit and chief retail sales officer for CCNA. He has spent 26 years with Coca-Cola Co. In his new role as senior vice-president and president of CCNA, he will report to president and chief executive James Quincey.

Dinkins succeeds J. Alexander "Sandy" Douglas Jr. who will retire from the company on Mar. 1. Douglas is an executive vice-president of Coca-Cola Co. and president of CCNA.
