Clif Bar will lay off 125, add 50 roles

Clif Bar has announced it will eliminate about 125 jobs and create 50 new jobs as part of an effort to adapt to consumer demands, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.

CEO Sally Grimes said the new roles will be in the areas of technology, data, analytics and innovation.

The company had about $900 million in sales in 2019 and 1,100 employees last year.
