CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association reported that 18 participants completed its recent Supervisor Development Program at the University of Houston, its new partner school. SDP has been part of NAMA's core educational program since 2006.
"NAMA congratulates our 2015 SDP graduates on this achievement, and wish them well as they return to their teams with new skills and continue to develop and define their leadership styles," said NAMA executive vice president and chief operating officer Dan Mathews.
The University of Houston's Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management presented this year's SDP. Hilton College is ranked among the nation's top hospitality management schools in the world.
Eddie Alfaro of Accent Food Services (Austin, TX), who took part in the program in late November, said the SDP instructors and peer-to-peer group discussions were engaging and enjoyable.
