SHANGHAI, China -- The 12th China International Self-Service, Kiosk & Vending Show, which is set for Sept. 16 through 18, will move to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) this year. The show is expected to attract more than 500 exhibitors and 20,000 domestic and international visitors, and fill an exhibit space of 25,000 square meters (about 269,100 sq. ft.). It will run concurrently with the China International Digital Signage, Audio Visual Integration and Equipment show.

According to the event's organizers, the event is being designed to provide a networking platform for participants to discover the latest technologies and market development trends in vending and office refreshment services. To further this end, a series of educational programs is in preparation. Among them will be the 2015 Worldwide Vending Operators Conference and a discussion of intelligent innovation and transformation in retailing.

Participants in the event will have the opportunity to learn about the experiences of successful vending initiatives in countries with advanced vending industries, including the United States, Japan and European nations. A Smart Day organized by exhibitors will showcase five "experience sections" including "smart" mall, hotel, restaurant, classroom and waiting room designs. Among other things, these demonstrations will offer a comprehensive look at the role of digital signage in improving customer communications across a wide range of industries and market segments.

The show's sponsors recall that the event has been held successfully for 11 years, developing into the most influential show dedicated to the vending and office refreshments industry in Asia. Throughout its history, it has received strong support from such overseas associations as National Automatic Merchandising Association in the United States, the European Vending Association, the Spanish trade association ANEDA (Asociación Nacional Española de Distribuidores Automáticos) and the Japan Vending Machine Manufacturers Association.

"China is a rapidly developing country and a huge potential market," said the show management team at Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co. "As a professional organizer of China Vending Show for more than 10 years, we are dedicating ourselves to the Chinese market and will continue learning from mature markets in developed countries. We work hard together with everyone engaged in this industry to contribute to the sustainable development of the China vending industry."

Last year's China International Self-Service, Kiosk and Vending Show attracted 13,197 visitors from more than 50 countries and enjoyed 23.4% growth compared with the previous year, and more than 500 well-known companies took part.

The show organizers report that 39.81% of visitors attended in order to collect market information; 32.23% were seeking partners; 11.37% visited the show to judge its potential for future exhibiting; 13.51 % came to purchase and 3.08% were attracted by the on-site conference.

Exhibition space is available, and companies that address the vending and office refreshment service business are encouraged to display their wares in front of more than 20,000 professional visitors.
