Detroit's Campus Martius will host Giving Machines from November 14 to December 8, according to a Click on Detroit report.

The vending machines, sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, allow people to donate to various charities by purchasing items like clothing, hygiene products and even livestock.

"We are called to care for those in need and to be a light to the world," Jeff Day, a stake president in metro Detroit for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, told the news outlet. "We strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ by loving others as He loves each of us."

By simply selecting an item and paying, donors can make a tangible impact on the lives of others.
