Celestial Seasonings Unveils Refreshed Tea Packaging

BOULDER, CO -- Celestial Seasonings has unveiled a new logo and packaging that highlights the tea brand's heritage.

The refreshed packaging blends many of the elements for which the brand is known -- including commissioned tea box art featuring iconic characters like Sleepytime Bear -- with a contemporary design.

Celestial Seasonings cartons are still biodegradable and recyclable, and its signature tea bag omits strings, staples and individual wrappers, which the company says saves 3.5 million pounds of material from landfills every year.

The teas come in more than 70 varieties including herbal, green, black, Rooibos and chai, along with ready-to-drink Kombucha and tea lattes.
