Nayax, cashless vendingTOKYO -- A global provider of cashless payment solutions and telemetry systems has opened a new office in Japan's capital city. Tel Aviv, Israel-based Nayax Ltd. said its Tokyo office will help local vending operators prepare for potentially increased levels of international tourism, which means cashless payments with international credit cards and smartphone payments. The opening of the office, called Nayax K.K., comes ahead of Japan's hosting the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Nayax has named Hiroshi Matsumoto general manager of Nayax K.K. He reportedly brings experience in business development and sales operations with IT companies in Japan and around the world.

I.J. Business Do Ltd., a consulting and business development company that specializes in the Japanese market, helped Nayax to establish its new Tokyo office.

"Nayax strives to increase our customers' sales by helping operators communicate with their consumers and streamline their operations."

Nechmad emphasized that it's a pivotal time for his company to establish a strong presence in Japan, where there are estimated to be more than 5 million vending machines.
