Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in partnership with campus University Health and Counseling Services, has installed wellness vending machines across campus, according to a report by the daily.
The five vending machines across campus dispense a variety of products related to reproductive health, first aid and illness. The items will be free, but with a limited amount of free items dispensed to any individual student per week. Once the student reaches their limit, the wellness products are still available, but must be purchased.
The vending machines track inventory dispensed to individuals based on the phone number they enter when using the machines. The machine automatically deletes these phone numbers after seven days have passed.
