Carvana to develop Columbus, Ohio site for car vending machine

Carvana plans to redevelop a site in Columbus, Ohio for one of its vending machine fulfillment centers, according to nbc4i.com report.

The company plans to allocate about 5.4 acres at 8350 Lyra Drive, according to the agenda for a Columbus City Council zoning committee meeting.

Carvana also recently announced a $126 million investment in Columbus-based Root Insurance, including a partnership that would enable the Columbus company to build custom policies at the time of car purchase.

The city staff has recommended approval of the proposed rezoning.
