Cargill acquires ProPortion Foods

Cargill has acquired ProPortion Foods, a food manufacturer of fully cooked products, portion control steaks and ready-to-grill meats, for an undisclosed sum, according to an Ohio Ag Connection report.

The purchase gives Cargill protein plants in Round Rock, Texas and Vernon, California to serve the company's foodservice and retail customers.
