Canteen acquires Camelback Vending Services

Canteen Vending Services, a division of Compass Group North America, has aquired Camelback Vending, a longtime independent convenience services operation in Phoenix, from owner Jodi Glimpse.

Glimpse stated in an email to Vending Times that she sold the business on Aug. 21 and she is no longer with the company. Aside from herself, Glimpse said the entire Camelback Vending team was retained by Canteen and the company operated a total of 10 routes.

A Canteen employee who did not want to be identified for publication confirmed the sale took place but did not divulge any further information except to say that the Camelback name will not continue.
