Cantaloupe Systems Awarded Fourth Patent For Dynamic Scheduling Technology

SAN FRANCISCO -- Cantaloupe Systems said it has received its fourth patent related to its dynamic scheduling technology. Dynamic scheduling is the underlying technology for Seed Pro, Cantaloupe's cloud-based data analytics software that produces easy-to-follow automated recommendations for scheduling, picking, repairing, merchandising for margin and service efficiency, among other operational tasks for both online and offline vending machines.

In the office or on the go with a tablet or smartphone, Seed Pro customers can instantly login online to check or change anything with no servers to buy or software to install. Operators using Seed Pro dynamic scheduling reduce route costs by 40% on average, according to Cantaloupe. It also asserts that it is the only vending tech company that offers a fully automated solution to optimized routes and fleets.

Cantaloupe said it will begin evaluating the market to determine if any software vendors or operators are infringing on its new patent, and it will monitor new products for infringement.
