Cantaloupe Inc. has launched its self-service micro market kiosk, the Go Micro. Designed for affordability and versatility, the compact kiosk aims to lower the barrier to entry for micro market operators and facilitate scaling their businesses, according to a press release.

The Go Micro features a small footprint, integrated barcode scanner and a five-inch touchscreen for a streamlined checkout experience. It is fully integrated with Cantaloupe Go and Seed Markets, allowing operators to manage all their micro markets on a single platform.

"Our mission at Cantaloupe is to empower operators to grow their businesses through smart, accessible technology," Gaurav Singal, chief technology officer at Cantaloupe, said in the release. "With the Go Micro, we're breaking down the cost barrier for starting micro markets."

The company highlights the cost-effectiveness of the Go Micro, making it an attractive option for smaller locations or as a secondary checkout in busier areas.

"The cost of the Go Micro is appealing and helps with the return on investment. Instead of needing to spend six or seven thousand dollars to start a market in a small location, requesting to swap out their vending machines, the Go Micro lets you do it for much less," Stacy Davick, owner of Yakima Vending, said in the release.
