Cafection Ships Remote Management Software For Hot Drink Machines

QUEBEC CITY, QC, Canada -- New software from Cafection Enterprises allows OCS operators to remotely monitor Cafection's hot beverage machines. Management Tool PRO sends an email alert to operators if a machine news preventive maintenance or if the office pantry is in need of supplies.

The software has an energy-saving feature that Cafection says can reduce operating costs by 25% or more. It also enables an account contact to order breakroom supplies directly from the machine.

"It's like having a virtual attendant watch over your assets," said Cafection's Frank Baron.

Cafection makes bean-to-cup, single-cup coffee machines. In Canada, Bell Canada runs Cafection's wireless machine-to-machine network. It's available in the U.S. on AT&T.
