QUÉBEC, QC, Canada -- Cafection Enterprises, North America's largest producers of bean-to-cup fresh-brew coffee machines and a proud member of the Evoca Group (Valbembro, Italy) is participating in this year's National Automatic Merchandising Association convention and exposition, the NAMA Show. The group will display new equipment and management software for connected coffee brewers.

Among innovations demonstrated at the NAMA Show will be the Sophia software system. Available on Cafection's Encore and Innovation Series brewers as well as the Wittenborg 9100, Sophia is a secure web-based application that enables precise customization (videos and coffee tags) of equipment to address client preferences, while providing important information including the machine's statistics, functional status and maintenance. The =graphic user interface is designed to make everything easier to organize and configure. It also allows operators to set up, manage and remotely monitor bean-to-cup machines.

To meet and exceed rigorous food safety requirements, Cafection is launching the renewed Encore 29 engineered to enable easy cleaning procedures that ensure the safe and delicious coffee. The Encore 29 features new algorithms to enhance the coffee flavor and aromatic quality.

Through its association with the Evoca Group, Cafection is now the official distributor and service support provider for professional Saeco out-of-home coffee machines in the United States. Internationally known for its expertise in espresso equipment, the Saeco Italian team works and collaborates with Cafection to offer an integrated espresso solution for OCS. Two top-quality products will be showcased at NAMA: the Saeco Royal and the Saeco Aulika.

Also slated for display and demonstration is the Krea Touch, a dual espresso-and-fresh brew machine with a new electronic platform and user interface through a 7-inch HD touchscreen. This enables a  large number of selections, flexible customized recipe management, customer branding and management of promotional videos.

Rounding out the Evoca line is the Wittenborg 9100 bean-to-cup brewer, designed to offer both top-quality espresso and fresh-brew coffee. Its stylish look, reliability and user-friendly 10" HD screen have been engineered to position the Wittenborg 9100 as the ultimate operator's coffee system. With two or three types of coffee available from a single machine, customers can choose among decaffeinated solutions, iced drinks, leaf tea or instant beverages. The machine supports coin or cashless systems at the same time, and can be connected to Cafection's Sophia global management system.

Evoca is a major player in both the OCS and foodservice sectors. The group was created by the integration of a number of global coffee machine manufacturers, a process that began in 2000 with the creation of N&W (previously Necta, which began by combining Italy's Zanussi and Denmark's Wittenborg. In June of 2017, Evoca and Cafection entered a joint venture for the manufacture and sale of premium coffee machines IN the North American OCS market. Evoca thus brings Cafection extensive espresso expertise and global scale, while seeing Cafection as the ideal platform for the expansion of Evoca's espresso coffee technology in the North American market.

Confirming Evoca commitment for this market, the group recently announced the acquisition of the assets of VE Global Solutions, LLC ("VEGS"), its distributor in the North American market, and the creation of a new affiliate, Evoca USA, LLC,  based at the VEGS site in Cleveland, OH. Through its direct presence, Evoca will be able to offer products and services in line with customers' expectations, and to develop espresso coffee technology in the significant United States market.

The organization will exhibit and describe its products and services in Booth 263 at the NAMA Show.
