Raw oysters for sale via Japanese vending machine

An oyster shop in Tatsuno, Hyogo, Japan is offering up raw oysters in a vending machine that allows customers to buy oysters 24/7, according to a report in The Mainichi.

Patrons insert money and get a key that opens an adjacent refrigerated locker. The machine offers a complementary carton of juice attached to the key, which the customer disposes of in a box.

The machine is restocked three times a day.
