SKOKIE, IL -- Play Mechanix has announced that it is teaming up with Busch Beer for a nationwide campaign this fall that will drive traffic to Big Buck HD machines run by operators in the United States. The promotion will debut at the NASCAR Bojangles 500 race in Darlington, SC, where a Big Buck Hunter-themed car driven by Kevin Harvick will be unveiled.

In conjunction with the promotion rollout, a special version of Big Buck HD will be activated on all online machines. This version will support two major promotional programs, both open to players 21 years of age or older. Both will be available on Big Buck HD games for U.S. operators

Players wishing to compete in the Busch Great White Buck Challenge will purchase a special-edition "Hunting Permit" player card by logging onto their player accounts. The card will cost $5 in player account credits, which may be reloaded from a credit or debit card. In return, Busch Beer will donate $5 to the National Forest Foundation for conservation. A player who receives a hunting permit is enabled to unlock the Great White Buck Challenge and compete.

Using a Hunting Permit at an online Big Buck HD machine will activate an exclusive version of the game that will give the player one opportunity to bag the Great White Buck on a Whitetail hunting site, at the normal cost of a Big Buck HD play. A successful shot wins the player five entries into a sweepstakes for a free Busch-themed Big Buck HD machine.

Busch wholesalers will be delivering promotional packs containing items that encourage Big Buck HD play to locations throughout the country. These include signage and coasters as well as coupons that can be given out when a patron purchases a Busch beer. Each coupon carries a unique code good for one free play on a connected Big Buck HD machine. It can be redeemed only when the machine is not being played and has no credit. Players redeem their coupons by pressing the start button, which brings up a screen asking for the code. Entering it enables a limited version of a single play.

In addition to these on-premise promotions, all Busch and Bush Light beer sold at retail will be branded with Big Buck Hunter packaging.

Play Mechanix pointed out that any operation can take part in this campaign simply by making sure that its Big Buck Hunter HD games are connected to the Internet and registered on CoinUp.

"To make this easy, any game that has not been registered within the past 90 days and comes online during the promotion period will not incur CoinUp service fees during that period," the company said. The offer is valid only for U.S. operators for Big Buck HD machines operated in this country, and is available for games connected before Dec. 31, 2019.
