Burdette Beckmann Inc Acquires Barta Sales In Greater Denver Area

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL -- Burdette Beckmann Inc. said it has acquired Barta Sales (Lakewood, CO), effective May 1. According to BBI, the acquisition is an opportunity to consolidate its competitive landscape while continuing to expand its existing client representation in the Rocky Mountain region.

"This is an exciting new chapter for Barta Sales," said owner Tom Barta. "BBI provides its clients with the same level of service that Barta has always prided itself on, and I feel confident that our customers will be in safe hands." Barta will assist in the transition of his vending and foodservice representation activities to BBI's national sales team. He then will stay active as Barta Sales, focusing on hot beverage clients.

All of Barta's vending and food manufacturing clients will now be managed under BBI vending general manager Paul Van Vleck. "With this, our 22nd successful acquisition, we have used our distinct competencies to provide best in class service for our clients in yet another region," Van Vleck observed.

Barta Sales, also a family-run business, was identified as opportunity for growth because of its similarity to BBI's business and culture.
