Bunn Designs MCO Single-Serve Capsule Brewer For Office Coffee Locations

SPRINGFIELD, IL -- Bunn-O-Matic Corp., whose brewing equipment has been a mainstay of the coffee service business for half a century, continues to address the needs of the fast-changing office market. The Bunn MCO capsule brewer has been developed to meet the contemporary demand for a wide variety of hot and cold beverages.

The MCO is designed for plumbed-in automatic operation, with a water inlet accepting a 1/4" fitting. The machine can function with water pressure between 20 and 90 PSI. It stands 16.75" high, and will fit in the customary 17" space under a cabinet. It measures only 11.7" wide x 20.6" deep, and runs on 120VAC, drawing 1450W.

Accommodating widely available semirigid preportioned filter packs, the MCO is engineered to deliver water at the correct temperature for the selected beverage, using water-jet injection to optimize flavor extraction. Brew settings are customizable, and the brewer features automatic ejection of expended cartridges into a base-mounted bin with a 25-cartridge capacity.

The patron can choose any of three brew sizes, and a flip tray can be swung up to permit brewing into cups of various sizes, including travel mugs. A touchscreen interface speeds and simplifies patron interaction, and the machine permits flash-memory programming through a USB connection.

The MCO is backed by a two-year warranty on parts and a one-year warranty on labor.
