Buffalo Rock names Matthew Dent CEO

Buffalo Rock Co., the Birmingham, Alabama-based Pepsi and Dr Pepper bottler and vending operator, has named Matthew Dent to replace Jimmy Lee III as CEO, the first person in the company's 120-year history who is not a member of the Lee family, according to an ai.com report.

Buffalo Rock has more than 2,100 employees and serves Alabama, western Georgia and the Florida panhandle.

Lee will remain as executive chairman.

Dent, a 25-year employee, has served as COO and president for 10 years.
