Brokers Unlimited And Brecht Sales Announce Merger

West Palm, FL-based Brecht Sales and Brokers Unlimited said they have merged their vend brokerages, effective Jan. 1. Kenny Freeman is president of Denver, NC-based Brokers Unlimited and Bruce Brecht is founder of Brecht sales.

The companies said the merger will allow Brokers Unlimited to expand its coverage into Florida. It also offers resources and support for Bruce Brecht to continue to develop this market. Brecht will operate in Florida under the Brokers Unlimited name.

"We are excited to welcome Bruce to our team," Freeman said. "Bruce brings years of expertise to the vending and OCS channels. We will be able to share in his knowledge to grow our business, with emphasis on the OCS side, while helping him continue to develop the vend channel."

Brecht said the timing for a merger is right and gives him greater access to product lines in his market that otherwise would have been a challenge due the fact that he was limited geographically to Florida.

Brokers Unlimited sales and marketing vice-president Greg Teel said the merger completes the company's footprint in the Southeast and will continue to position it for growth in the future. In addition to Florida, Brokers Unlimited's coverage includes North and South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas.

In addition to being a regional vending and OCS specialist in the Southeast, Brokers Unlimited is a partner in Premier Broker Partners Inc., a national sales and marketing company.
