Brinton acquires PGI Services, Peak Refreshments, Modern Plate

Brinton Business Ventures Inc., the parent company of Evergreen Refreshments, based in Tukwila, Washington, recently acquired PGI Services of Colorado and Utah as well as Peak Refreshments and Modern Plate in Colorado.

The three operations add more than 20 routes to Brinton Business Ventures, according to Jim Brinton, company president.

Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.

Mike Brown, president of PGI Services, based in Salt Lake City, will remain onboard indefinitely overseeing the Rocky Mountain division.

Brian Faley, owner and CEO of Peak Refreshments and Modern Plate, based in Aurora, Colorado, will serve as the Colorado president.

The three operations add more than 100 employees to Brinton Business Ventures' family of companies. All three acquired companies will continue to operate under their existing names.
