Bridgford Foods to expand North Carolina facility

Bridgford Foods Corp., a manufacturer of shelf stable sandwich items and meats that serves the convenience services industry, will invest $2.09 million to expand its Statesville, North Carolina facility, according to a press release.

The company plans to incorporate vacuum microwave drying technology into its facility and create eight jobs. The company will utilize this technology to produce food bars and close combat rations for the military.

Bridgford Foods specializes in meat wholesaling, frozen food distribution, meat processing and vacuum-packed desserts. Based in Dallas Texas, the company has additional facilities in Anaheim, California, Dallas, Texas and Chicago.
