Griin, an Israel-based coffee roasting solution, and Kren Kedem-Rosenberg, an office coffee service operator, have placed griin's on-site coffee roaster at the Israeli branch of Google for Startups, according to a press release.

Griin offers an on-site countertop coffee roaster that features proprietary, patent-pending technology using machine learning to roast green coffee beans, a technique for non-industrial coffee roasting with the highest quality of fresh coffee for consumers.

At scale, this solution has the potential to decentralize the coffee supply chain, leading to a more balanced profit share for coffee producers and resellers, while improving various aspects of sustainability, according to the press release.

"The offering of freshly roasted premium coffee with its environmental positive impact and innovative twist is a perfect fit for Google for Startups," Kedem-Rosenberg said in the release.

"This is a great example of a new office coffee services operator who is poised to meet modern workplace requirements for traceable, eco-responsible, and premium coffee," Yuval Weisglass, CEO and co-founder of griin, said in the release.
