Boone Central Middle School (BCMS) in Albion, Nebraska, received a grant from the TeamMates organization to purchase and install a book vending machine in the school, according to a Albion News Online report.
Linked2Literacy, a nonprofit that increases access to reading materials, helped by providing 300 new age-appropriate books for the middle-schoolers (fifth through eighth grades).
"This is a great way for TeamMates to support our youth and literacy in schools," Bill Curry, BCMS principal, told the news outlet. "We very much appreciate it."
