Bonkers Columbia FEC Receives Award For Employment Inclusion

COLUMBIA, MO -- Bonkers Columbia has received the Inclusive Business Award from the Columbia Employment Consortium. The award was established to encourage the employment of individuals with disabilities.

Missouri State Senator Caleb Bowden (R.-Columbia) presented the award to the Bonkers team at a special event on Oct. 29.

The Columbia Employment Consortium is an organization in Boone County, MO, that focuses on providing recruitment and retention services to local businesses and employment services to people with disabilities.

"We are committed to a diverse and inclusive team here are Bonkers," said Bonkers manager Anna Jones. "It's important to us to give those in our community opportunities to succeed."

Bonkers works closely with ACT in hiring and developing individuals with disabilities. ACT (Alternative Community Training) is a Columbia-based organization that provides support to individuals with disabilities throughout mid-Missouri.

Bonkers Columbia is a family entertainment center that offers an expansive indoor Play Maze, an arcade filled the latest games, appealing food, exciting indoor rides and a variety of other exciting attractions.
