Blind Merchants to host Second City training in Chicago April 14-17

The National Association of Blind Merchants will host a training opportunity at its upcoming BLAST (Business Leadership and Superior Training) Conference by Chicago's iconic Second City, April 14-17, at the Downtown Hyatt Regency on East Wacker. 

"We wanted to give this year's BLAST a real Chicago flavor," Nicky Gacos, NABM president, said in a press release. "When we learned that the iconic Second City offers corporate training, it was a no-brainer."  

Second City will present a blend of comedy sketches and customized training activities designed to help use improvisation to enhance skills as a communicator and to explore new ideas. Early registrants will have their names placed in a drawing for a $500 cash prize. Early bird registration ends Feb. 21.

The hotel will honor conference rates the weekends prior to and after the event, as long as rooms are available.
