Blind Merchants To Host Mini BLAST In Conjunction With Vistar 2019 Northeast Buying Show

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ -- The National Association of Blind Merchants will gather for a mini BLAST (Business Leadership and Superior Training) conference co-located with Vistar's 2019 Northeast Buying Show.
 
The newly formed Vistar Northeast, which combines the convenience services distributor's New England, New York, Ohio and Mid-Atlantic teams, will host its largest- ever Buying Show Sept. 26 and 27 (Thursday and Friday) in Atlantic City, NJ, at Harrah's Resort.
 
Mini Blast will start Wednesday, Sept. 25, with training on Thursday and then combine with the Vistar show on Thursday evening and Friday
 
"The 2019 Northeast Buying Show will bring industry experts, leaders, operators and suppliers from all segments of the vending and OCS trade together for an unprecedented event, over 150 supplier booths, the hottest new items on the market, one-of-kind discounts on thousands of products, informative seminars and endless networking possibilities," said Vistar Northeast sales manager Mike Mullin.

Plans call for NABM to team up with Vistar for a conference at Vistar Northeast's Buying Show in Atlantic City, NJ, on Sept. 26 and 27. NABM, a division of the National Federation of the Blind, has built its annual Business Leadership And Superior Training (BLAST) program into the principal educational conference for blind vendors and state licensing agency management and staff. The most recent one, "Lonestar BLAST," was conducted in San Antonio, TX, from Nov. 13 through 16, 2018 (see VT, April-May 2019).
