Biz-Op Wins Contract For Minnesotas Largest School District

ANOKA, MN -- Fresh Healthy Vending International Inc. said it has been awarded a one-and-a-half year contract to place its machines in Minnesota's largest school district.

The San Diego-based healthy vending company said franchisees Steve and Misty Paparella of Tasty and Healthy Vending have begun placing machines in the Anoka-Hennepin School District, which reportedly serves 38,000 students in 24 schools.

The machines align students' vending choices with the federal Smart Snacks in Schools guidelines contained in the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. Options include smoothies, fruit, granola bars, baked chips and natural juices and sodas.
