NORTHAMPTON, MA -- Berkshire Natural said it has installed its second "healthy" vending machine on the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) in the Natic service plaza eastbound. Its first healthy vending machine is deployed on the Mass Pike in the Westborough plaza.
Some of the locally produced products in the Natick Mass Pike location include Green Mountain yogurt (Brattleboro, VT), Cedars hummus and tzatziki (Haverhill, MA), Polar seltzer (Worcester, MA) and Cape Cod reduced-fat potato chips (Hyannis, MA).
Berkshire Natural's vending machines can be found throughout Massachusetts in public and private schools, hospitals, YMCAs, corporations and universities. Established in 2009, the company's machines only feature products that do not contain trans fat, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors or colors. The products are frequently sourced from New England companies.
