Ben E Keith Foods opens Alabama distribution center

Ben E. Keith Foods, a Fort Worth, Texas foodservice distributor serving 17 states, has opened a 421,000-square-foot distribution center in New Brockton, Alabama, serving eastern Mississippi, western Georgia, the Florida Panhandle and all of Alabama, according to a press release.

The new facility features Dematic Multi-shuttles, a Frick's refrigeration system and security system, LED lighting, warehouse management software, a test kitchen and training center.

The division will offer 18,000 unique items and has added more than 80 employees in the past 12 months.
