Barretts Alehouse Retains Player One Amusement Group For New Massachusetts Restaurant

WEST BRIDGEWATER, MA -- Almost a year after closing the doors at its popular sports bar in this Boston suburb, Barrett's Alehouse has reopened. The new restaurant features a spacious dining room, two bars and four private function areas, along with an interactive 50-piece amusement installation by Player One Amusement Group (PIAG).

The 23,000-sq.ft. facility was fully renovated in recent months. As part of the redesign, its walls were opened up to make way for the 4,500-sq.ft. gameroom. It's equipped with Embed's debit card system for cashless payments and ticketless redemption. New amusements include The Walking Dead videogame, ICE-Ball alleys and instant-prize machines. Retro favorites are recreated in Space Invaders Frenzy and Bandai Namco's giant Pac-Man. 

"It's been an amazing couple of months, finalizing the Game Room, and seeing it all come together," said Barrett's Alehouse managing partner Dave Barry. "From the moment they step through the door, our guests can expect a modern, state-of-the-art experience. The Game Room adds an extra element of fun, making it a great destination for families stopping by to grab a bite, or hosting birthday parties in our private function rooms for 10 or 200 kids."

Barrett's teamed up with P1AG to design and develop the space and redemption counter for the gameroom within the alehouse. This is the second and largest location in which the two businesses have partnered. The first, which opened in 2014, is located in Fall River, MA.

P1AG Eastern operations vice-president Joe Ingui described Barrett's Alehouse West Bridgewater as an "exceptional site."
