Dean Foods has found buyers for almost all of its milk-processing plants in a federal bankruptcy court-supervised auction, according to a report in The Dallas Morning News. The auction will net more than $530 million.

The company, which filed for bankruptcy protection in November and had 57 manufacturing facilities in 29 states, named winning bidders including Dairy Farmers of America and Prairie Farms Dairy.

Dairy Farmers of America will acquire 44 of the fluid and frozen facilities for $433 million.

Prairie Farms Dairy will acquire eight other facilities and two distribution branches for $75 million.

Facilities in Miami and Reno, Nevada, yielded bids of $16.5 million and $2.1 million, respectively, according to court documents.

Harmoni Inc. bid $7.25 million for Uncle Matt's, a Dean owned organic juice line.
